Material Options

SS - Stainless Steel (300 series)

  • Great strength
  • Rust resistant - brushed finish or electropolished to a bright finish
  • For highly corrosive areas, recommend 316 grade or electropolished 304 grade

Plated Carbon Steel

  • All the strength of plain steel with good rust resistance
  • The beauty of stainless steel for less cost  
  • Recommended for interior use only

PS - Carbon Steel (200 series)

  • Great strength 
  • Carbon steel is subject to corrosion
  • Best application is a controlled environment

Painted Carbon Steel

  • The strength of plain steel with good rust resistance
  • More costly than plated, but more options to match decor
  • Recommended for interior use only

LS200/LS300 - Edge Mount

  • For all 1 3/4" doors up to 600 lbs
  • Used on high traffic, high abuse doors

LS205/LS305 - Double Guard

  • For all 1 3/4" doors up to 600 lbs
  • Used to protect both edges of the hinge side of the door from gouges & dents

LS215/LS315 - Single Guard

  • For all 1 3/4" doors up to 600 lbs
  • Used to protect a single, leading edge of the hinge side of the door from gouges & dents

LS211/LS311 - Swing Clear Single Guard

  • For all 1 3/4" doors up to 600 lbs
  • Used to swing the door completely out of the opening as well as protect a single edge of the hinge side of the door from gouges & dents

LS250/350 - Swing Clear Frame Wrap 

  • For all  3/4" doors up to 600 lbs
  • Used to swing the door completely out of the opening
  • Protects the frame from gouges & dents
  • fastens on the face of the frame rather than the inside edge of the opening

LS308 - Leading Edge Guard

  • For all 1 3/4" doors
  • Used to protect both leading edges of the door. Use with door hinge models for a balanced look
